MP Lighting

MP Lighting was founded in 1994 as a one-man operation making light fixtures out of his an apartment in Vancouver. Today, the company employs about 50 people and markets a variety of low voltage rail, cable and pendant lighting systems to engineers, architects and interior designers to every major city in North America.
By continuously designing creative, unique and architecturally pleasing products, MP Lighting has helped its customers choose environmentally friendly lighting solutions without sacrificing function or style. MP Lighting’s commitment to energy conservation can be seen through the innovative lighting collections they offer, which have the ability to provide 50,000 hours of light; 50 times longer than most incandescent light and 5 times longer than compact fluorescent light.
MP Lighting supplied spot lighting from their “L” series for the carved First Nations doors at the entrance to the BC Showcase, as well as low voltage lighting from their “X” series interspersed throughout the Spirit Ceiling.
