Venue Description:
VANOC has planned a broadcast and press centre in Whistler to provide facilities for media covering the snow and sliding sports for the 2010 Winter Games.

The Whistler Media Centre will be located in the existing Whistler Conference Centre in the heart of Whistler Village within 17 kilometres of all Whistler venues. It will include the press centre and the mountain broadcast centre. The Whistler Conference Centre will provide 4,600 square metres of functional space for the 2010 Games broadcast and press operations.

The three main sport venues in Whistler for the 2010 Winter Games will each have full media facilities. The venues include Whistler Creekside, the Whistler Nordic venue in the Callaghan Valley and the Whistler Sliding Centre on Blackcomb Mountain.
