Venue Description:
Olympic and Paralympic Village Whistler is less than 20 minutes from all the Whistler competition venues. A short shuttle ride will take athletes to the heart of Whistler Village and the nightly medal ceremonies at the Whistler Celebration Site in the town's centre.

Post-Games Use:
The Resort Municipality of Whistler will convert the athlete village into its newest, resident housing neighbourhood. An athlete's centre, which will accommodate up to 350 athletes in Whistler for training or competition, is also proposed as a permanent structure. The location of the village was chosen by the resort community through a public consultative process as part of the development of the comprehensive sustainability plan, called Whistler 2020.
