British Columbia-Canada Place in Torino (2006)

British Columbia-Canada Place in Torino, Italy became a high profile, multi-media meeting place that highlighted the enterprise and innovation at work in B.C. and Canada. It presented British Columbia’s business, tourism and cultural opportunities to an international audience, and it offered a venue for British Columbia companies and communities to form new partnerships and build new relationships.

More than 80 British Columbia companies took advantage of British Columbia-Canada Place at the 2006 Winter Games. Thousands of visitors visited B.C.’s showcase that promoted business opportunities, including alternative energy, sustainable technologies, fuel cell technology and more.
